Nascosto Project - Roccamandolfi Italy
Beneath the shaded pine trees of the mountains, and resting on the cliff side of Roccamandolfi is the resort Reflections. The overall theme of the resort is camouflage, as it is meant to blend in with the surroundings of the mountains, and not obstruct the natural 360 views that can be seen throughout the resort. Located on the cliff side of the castle are 3 treehouse structures named Nascosto. Nascosto directly translates to the word “Hidden” in Italian. The shape of the structure sits on tall stilts to give the illusion that it is one with the mountain, it’s reflective material, flat horizontal lines, and geometric sharp turns, make those in the space feel as though they are moving through a labyrinth with privacy in every corner.
